Shirt Design Contest

The Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking artwork / graphic design to use in promotional materials for the Great Columbia Crossing 10K Run/Walk event.

Each October, the Great Columbia Crossing attracts about 3,500 people to trek across the Astoria-Megler Bridge during this unique opportunity to walk/run across the bridge. For some it is an annual tradition and for others it is a once-in-a-lifetime event – and many of those participants choose to purchase an event T-shirt as a memento of their experience.

We are hosting an open call to seek out T-shirt designs for the annual Great Columbia Crossing. In recent years, we have been offering a finisher's medal to every participant when they cross the finish line. Shirt design may be edited / reformatted to also be used for the medal.

Design submissions are due by 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  The selected artist will be awarded $400 for use of their design.

Please share the contest information with any artists or designers that might like to participate. This is open to amateurs and professionals.  If we receive multiple submissions that we like, we may opt to line up artwork for the next few years.
