Victorian Games

Looking for a way to get the children outside and away from the television or computer games but don’t want to travel far and spend a lot of money? Then bring the family to the Flavel House Museum lawn on Saturday or Sunday, September 11th and 12th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and enjoy some old-fashioned fun and games such as badminton and croquet. The kids will also enjoy testing their skills with the hoop and stick or ball and cup games. There will be contests and prizes, story telling, music, several different craft demonstrations, and other hands-on activities for the kids and parents to enjoy.

So, come have a corn-dog (Yes, they had these back then too.) and lemonade while the kids learn how children from the Victorian period entertained themselves.
