Iron Chef Goes Coastal

Chefs competing in the 2009 Iron Chef Goes Coastal event include John Newman of Newman’s 988, Lynn “Red” Pelletier of Bridgewater Bistro, Alex Kurrus of Astoria Golf and Country Club and William Leroux of Wayfarer Restaurant. The timed culinary competition will be decided by a panel of judges, while guests will have the opportunity to name a “People’s Choice” winner. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $40 for reserved seating. Iron Chef Goes Coastal is one of three major fundraising events hosted throughout the year by United Way of Clatsop County.
