Hope for Tomorrow
A Concert to Benefit Clatsop Behavioral Health & Early Assessment Support Alliance (EASA) an intercept program
Astoria High School Choir, Jazz Band, and Orchestra.
Sam Coffey and his roommates—music majors at George Fox University, Classical Trio; Janet Bowler, Shelley Loring on flute; Kelley Larking on Bassoon.
Daniel Mather, AHA graduate on Saxophone and more….
EASA aids teens and young adults who are having difficulties with depression and psychosis issues, to help with early detection, treatment and support for those affected. Music is a powerful tool used in their rehabilitation, in addition to mentoring medication and other doctor treatment therapies.
The concert’s goals are BUILDING AWARENESS of this program, of the intimidating issue of mental illness in young people; as well as the RAISE FUNDS for the program. And last but not least, to CELEBRATE MUSIC!; an art that truly changes lives.
