Easter Egg Hunt

The annual Easter Egg Hunt has been scheduled for Saturday, April 24th with staggered times for each age group. The event has moved to the Astoria Aquatic Center grass area this year due to the construction at Tapiola Park. The event is sponsored by Fred Meyer, Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce, the City of Astoria’s Parks and Recreation Department and several other generous donations.

The activities begins at 11:30am with activities for the children. The hunt is free; however hotdogs and Pepsi will be available for a donation.

The egg hunt begins at noon for the 0-2 and 3-4 age group. At 12:30 the 5-7 age group will do their egg hunt and at 12:45 the 8- 11 year olds will begin their hunt. Children should bring their own basket or bags. Astoria and Warrenton merchants have also donated small prizes for the egg hunt.

Participants are welcome to stay after the hunt and enjoy $1.00 swimming at the Astoria Aquatic Center.
