Fort George Brewery + Public House

The Fort George Brewery + Public House has resurrected the historic Columbia-Pacific community of Astoria, Oregon’s brewing culture, while responding to the palates of the 21st century. In our eight and a half barrel brewery, we use organic base malts, and the freshest, most locally obtainable ingredients. We consistently offer eight house taps in our pub, with rotating seasonal ales. We often brew outside of traditional categories, striving to create beer that stands out from the crowd.

The goal in the Fort George Brewery + Public House kitchen is to provide wholesome seasonal food for everyone to enjoy. We are proud to offer many hand-made items on our menu, which are prepared from scratch by our employees. We hope that the fruits of our labor and love for food invite you to return again and again for many great meals, outstanding beers, and good company.

Most recently, the Fort George Brewery has expanded into the late Lovell Auto building which now houses a 30-barrel production brewery, canning line, and tasting room. Currently, tours of this new brewery are being offered every Saturday at 1:00 and 4:00p.m. Come into the pub for a meal and a pint, and walk right over to the production brewery for a tour. Starting the first weekend in February 2011, the tasting room will be open during the weekends.
