The day was April 17, 1983, when the Columbia Pacific region gave its voice to KMUN-FM, a new and locally-owned choice on the radio dial. Now after 25 years of commercial-free community based public broadcasting and over 100,000 volunteer hours, KMUN has become the most popular radio station in the market.*
