Four Unique Tours
The City of Long Beach has partnered with the Pacific Northwest Living Historians to provide four unique escorted tours on the Long Beach Peninsula. These are tours that have been offered as shore excursions to visiting cruise ship passengers that are now available to the general public, with advance reservation.
Horseback Riding on the Beach – 2.5 hour horseback ride along the surf.
Peninsula Museums – 4 hour guided tour including Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, Cranberry Museum, World Kite Museum and Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center
The Mud Stick Tour – 3 hour venture to learn the history of the centuries-old wooden remains of piers, canneries, jetty railroads and other wooden structures
jutting out of the water and sands of the Columbia River.
Charter Boat Tour – 2.5 hour sightseeing cruise of the Columbia River Estuary.
